Isa viewed his new surroundings with mild displeasure. He'd been on his way to meet with some friends and then suddenly everything had begun spinning. When his vision cleared again, he was here. It seemed he'd been whisked away to some place, perhaps another world. He'd heard of them but he hadn't thought of traveling to one.

"If this is some sort of prank or joke, I hardly find it funny."

Kanda had been, much to his displeasure, just finishing drying off when he was taken. He'd been in the process of putting on his pants when his surroundings suddenly changed. He swayed for a moment, unsteady. He was glad his pants were completely on but having dripping wet hair, no shirt, and no idea where he was left him in a bad mood. He growled as he looked around.

"What the fucking hell is this place and how the hell did I get here?"

Fwip, stamp, thump. Fwip, stamp, thump. Fwip, stamp, thump.

The Librarian was bored. He had all these books, as many books as he could ever possibly want, but that had only interested him for a while. As much as he thirsted for knowledge, he missed the companionship he used to have. He'd been in this place a long time--too long.

He added the last book to the cart and stood up, stretching. He grinned, but it was a bored grin. "Look pretty good fer bein' ov'r 150 years, eh?" He asked no one in particular. The silence that greeted his question made his smile fade. He sighed and gave the cart of books a shove. It rolled away down the isles but he didn't chase after it, just watched it go.

"The least ya could do is bring meh sum companions. I could do wit' sum new friends." He complained to the books. He heard a soft sound and paused. It couldn't be the cart, that would keep rolling until it reached the end... Had the books answered his request? He moved out from behind his desk and headed towards the sound, curiosity still his biggest vice even after all these years.

ooc note -- so still working out all the events but I figured that I should at least introduce the Librarian, right? Here's Lavi, the Librarian. His age is undisclosed, but as he stated, he's well over 150 years old. One of the perks, or curses depending on how you look at it, of staying in the Libraritorium is that you don't age normally. How much control he has over the books and this place will be revealed later. This is just his introduction.

Please respect the rules. They are as follows:

Original characters are allowed. I personally love OCs and it always bothered me when communities denied access to them. This comm won't turn away OCs. This isn't limited to OCs either. Everyone is welcome, be it from manga and anime or TV shows. Video games, books, movies, etc; bring all your characters and they will be loved.

Multiple posts are currently allowed. If several people join, then this might change. However, as of now this community will allow multiple postings in one day or even by one mun/muse. Please try to limit postings to three or four, as this is a comm and not your personal journal.

Godmodding is not allowed. Please don't try to lord over other characters with your character. This means that your character can't be immune to everything. I'm not saying your character can't be awesome or even that they can't have certain immunities to what's happening but this comm has specific events that will be going down. Your character can't avoid them all. And really, why would you want them to? That's where all the fun is after all.

Flaming is not allowed. This should be self-explanatory but I suppose I can go into detail. Nasty comments will not be tolerated, not to the muns or their muses. Anyone caught doing this will be dropped from the comm.

Trolling, fighting and loud arguments are allowed. If you want to troll or fight with someone, that is allowed. In fact, it's encouraged.

This community is open to all views. This means homosexual couples and church views are both embraced here. Please be respectful of other people's preferences.

Dying/killing is allowed. If you want your character to "die" or "kill" someone here, that is acceptable. However, this particular comm revives it's "victims" and this is not negotiable. If you want your character to die permanently, you will have to leave the comm or have something happen to them. Such as, but not limited to, being bitten/scratched by a werewolf, being killed by the chupacabra, or being bitten by a vampire.

Smut is allowed. Although I'm not sure how you would go about inciting it, I won't hold it against you if it happens. Please mark posts appropriately if it comes to that.

Please respect the locations. The locations inside the library will be listed over time. However, most of them are not near each other. Unless there is a specific event, it will take a great amount of time to reach one location from another, at least one or two posts. This can be loop-holed by giving a specific time frame having past in a post. The rest of the library is considered "limbo" and exploring that can take as little or as much time as you want.

Inside the books. What happens inside the books is up to you but please try to be realistic. If your book is The Count of Monte Cristo, then please don't have your character battling dragons. Otherwise, go at it. Feel free to have anything within reason go down.

Rooms: Shared or Single. Rooms will eventually be provided. When that happens, you will have your choice of sharing a room with one other person or having a single room.

If you have any questions, comments, concerns, or would even like to add/edit a rule, please leave a note here for me. I'll get back to you ASAP.

Perhaps you were getting dressed. Maybe you were taking a shower. You might have even been sleeping. Whatever the case, you'll find yourself in the middle of the Libraritorium. You'll feel a bit disorientated at first, your head spinning as dizziness sets in. You'll find yourself surrounded by bookshelves as far as the eye can see. The bookshelves are insanely tall, reaching at least as high as a one-story building. Scattered around you are books of all kinds, some just seem to have been tossed haphazardly on the ground, while others seem to have been stacked in piles. There are many different kinds and genres, most of them based on your specific tastes.

Not all of the books are just books, however. Some of them appear to be based on TV shows, like Merlin or Leverage or even Private Practice. Dare you open one? They might have a clue inside, some kind hint as to where you are or why you were brought here.

If you're not curious enough to open one of the books, you might want to look around. There are ladders on the bookshelves, leading up to something. Wonder what? You'll have to climb up to find out. In the distance, there's a strange sound. A thumping sound, almost rhythmic. If you look in the direction of the sound, you might see what looks like a toy desk in the distance, glimpsed through the bookshelves. Perhaps a librarian's desk? If you're lucky...

There's so much to see and learn about this place. Where will you start?
